- Yu-Na Kim will skate Worlds and then decide her future after that, I believe. Honestly, I can't see her continuing on to Sochi - can you even imagine the pressure? - or even much further after this season. She has said, I think, that she wants to have a 'normal college experience' and obviously she would not get that in South Korea - I wonder if she might go to college in Canada. I'd be happy to see her continue, but at the same time, I think it would also be interesting to see what would happen to Ladies skating without Kim in the picture.
- Mao will skate Worlds and doesn't seem to have any plans to retire anytime soon. She has said that she wants to beat Yu-Na 'properly', which is fair enough, and I'd love to see her do it. I think she is also planning on changing up her coaches a little (i.e, dropping Tarasova and just using her as choreographer/advisor) and she has also said that she is hoping to use some 'lighter' music next season, which in my opinion is exactly what she needs.
- As for the rest of the Japanese team, Nakano has announced that she is retiring, and will not be going to Worlds, which leaves Akiko Suzuki to take her place. Miki Ando will also be going to Worlds. I wouldn't be surprised to see her retire after this season; she looked sluggish and tired in Vancouver and she didn't really look happy. Then again, Mao didn't look happy at all this season, and look at her now. As for Suzuki, I'm really happy for her that she gets to go to Worlds. I wouldn't have thought she'll retire just yet.
- Carolina will likely skate in Turin, assuming that the Italian Fed let her skate. I'd really like her to finally skate clean. I'm not sure if she's planning on retiring or if she's going to carry on. I'd like to think she'll continue, but if she doesn't manage to win two spots for Italy at next year's Worlds, there's a good chance she'll start losing her assignments to Marchei.
- Julia Sebestyen is apparently skating Worlds and then, presumably, retiring.
- Laura Lepisto, Kiira Korpi, Rachael Flatt, Mirai Nagasu and Ashley Wagner are all hoping to continue to Sochi, and I think that all except Ashley will be at Worlds. Rachael and Mirai should easily earn back three spots for the USA, which is good news. I'm kind of surprised to see Rachael's intention to continue until 2014 considering the colleges she's aiming for and I wouldn't be at all surprised if she retires somewhere along the line before then. As for the others, I'd love to see all four of them make it to Sochi. I'm not sure what the state of Finnish Juniors is; Lepisto and Korpi are probably pretty safe in their knowledge that if they can keep their skating up, they will win spots to Sochi. Wagner in particular, though, may struggle. Hopefully not, I love her.

- I was surprised to hear this, but Joannie Rochette is planning to skate Worlds. Good for her. Hopefully she can keep up the momentum from Vancouver.
I think that's all I know of. We may still see withdrawals but as of right now, it looks like Worlds will pretty much be an Oly rematch for the Ladies, which will definitely be exciting!
